About the Artist:
Wei Tai, born in Shanghai, China, is an award-winning artist and graduate of the Shanghai Fine Art Institute. After moving to the U.S. in 1991, he became a Phoenix-based painter celebrated for blending Eastern and Western art traditions. A signature member of the American Watercolor Society and member of the Portrait Society of America, Tai’s work spans portraits, horses, and nature-inspired themes. His art has appeared in ELLE and International Artist magazines, and he has received multiple international portrait awards. His solo exhibition at the Phippen Museum (2024) earned critical acclaim.
